A Memorable Halloween: Mentor Ridge's Annual Trick-or-Treat

Mentor Ridge Health and Rehabilitation welcomed everyone from ghosts and ghouls to princesses and monsters for our annual Trick-or-Treat! Our residents and staff prepared for this event all month long and were so excited to host it indoors for the first time since 2019.

Our residents and activity staff prepared for the day by carving pumpkins, decorating, and filling candy baskets. Our Dietary Manager, Tony Martucci, welcomed guests by offering hot dogs and chips to munch on while they waited for the fun to start. Our residents' favorite part is always handing out candy to all the kids and seeing their costumes.



The children paraded down the halls, filling their buckets to the brim with treats as they made their way to watch Tada the Magician perform amazing magic tricks. Everyone, especially, got a kick out of watching our Administrator, Dave Granito, and corporate marketer, Andrea Lawrence, step up to be volunteers from the audience. Our dining room was filled with laughter and many “oohs” and “ahhs” as Tada astounded us with his sleight of hand wizardry.



We were so happy to be able to offer this event again for our residents, staff, family, and surrounding community members. We are looking forward to hosting this spooktacularly "fang-tastic" event next Halloween! We hope to continue bringing joy and togetherness to our residents, employees, and community throughout the holiday season!
